1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how KAYJOR Labs ("KAYJOR", "we", "us") collects, uses, retains, and shares personal information when you visit kayjor.com, submit a pilot request, or interact with any infrastructure we operate on behalf of pilot partners. It applies to our marketing website, our pilot-program application process, and any infrastructure we host as part of an executed pilot agreement.
KAYJOR is in a 2026 Founding Network. During this phase, certain provisions below (particularly around data residency and sub-processors) are governed by the executed pilot agreement, which takes precedence over this policy in case of conflict. Once we move to general availability, this policy will be updated to reflect the production architecture.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three categories:
2.1 Information you give us
- Pilot requests. Name, work email, organization type, and any message you include in the "Request Pilot Access" form on this site.
- Correspondence. When you email us or reply to one of our notifications, we retain the contents of that exchange.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) for every request to kayjor.com and our deployed backend.
- Aggregated analytics. Privacy-respecting page-view counts via the Blink analytics module, which is configured to avoid cross-site tracking and does not set third-party cookies.
2.3 Information from infrastructure (post-pilot only)
If you are a pilot partner with an executed agreement, KAYJOR may process economic activity, verification records, and aggregated outcome metrics on your behalf. The categories, retention, and jurisdictional handling of that data are defined in the pilot agreement, not this policy.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your pilot request and contact you about it.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website and our backend.
- To send you notifications you have explicitly opted into (pilot status, whitepaper releases, security advisories).
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers. Infrastructure vendors that host this site and our backend, under contractual confidentiality and data-processing terms.
- Pilot partners. If you submit a pilot request, we may share your information internally with the KAYJOR team members evaluating and responding to your inquiry.
- Legal. When required by valid law, or to protect our legal rights, the safety of users, or the integrity of our infrastructure.
- Corporate transactions. If KAYJOR is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users before the transfer takes effect.
TO REVIEW: List the current sub-processors here (hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer relationship management, etc.) with their jurisdictions. This is required by GDPR, UK GDPR, and several U.S. state privacy laws.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and delete or anonymize it when those purposes end. Specific retention windows:
- Pilot requests. Retained while you are an active pilot conversation, plus a reasonable archive period afterward for compliance and reactivation.
- Server logs. Retained on a rolling window; older logs are deleted automatically.
- Correspondence. Retained while the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
TO REVIEW: Confirm specific retention windows with counsel. The defaults above are reasonable for early-stage operations but should be reviewed against your actual data lifecycle and applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.).
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing (e.g. for direct marketing).
- Request portability of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the address in Section 11. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
7. Security
We design and operate our systems to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Details of our security program are described on the Security page.
8. International transfers
KAYJOR operates globally, and personal information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) and apply additional safeguards where required by applicable law.
TO REVIEW: Identify the specific countries/regions where data is processed (home jurisdiction + sub-processor jurisdictions) and the lawful transfer mechanism relied upon. Required for GDPR / UK GDPR and increasingly enforced under other regimes.
9. Children
Our website and pilot program are not directed to children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (16 in most EU member states, 13 in the U.S. under COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- For changes that affect existing pilot partners, notify you by email at the address you provided in your pilot request.
- For changes that materially expand the categories of personal information we collect or the purposes for which we use it, give you the opportunity to opt in again.
Continued use of this site after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
